what is even more sick about this picture is the fact that only about 10 people are eating, what a waste!! people sometimes critisise the west for not doing enough to help the poor and the starving, perhaps they should look at these pictures, so vile.

hi again, I like to add some info that, in my opinion, might be of help I am assuming the picture of those arabs eating from the big plate/ tray , el gas3a, are from Saudi arabia ( they may not be , .. but ok )
I spent sometime reading about Saudi, and wanted to know more for curiosity’s sake because I suspect a lot of the food we see in the picture will go to waste, I searched the suadi govmnt sites to see and learn if they always had wealth, I mean I wanted to know if wasting food is an old habit .. and find out how old. Here: In 1931 - King Abdul Aziz was faced with a problem ( shortage of money ) because of a drop in the number of pilgrims ( 7ijjaj visiting Makka not many .. ie they were making good money from 7ajj, possibly their only big source ) 1938:- Oil production BEGAN So, really, all this waste is pretty new …
