I Thought I'd share it with you. 20-20-20
Step I :-
After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.
Step II :-
Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.
Step III :-
Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the
entire body.

i did a party the last week in my house to all the stuff in the hospital , it was so beautiful these are the medical record of the hospital , they are so nice people .
the sister is a doctor in the hospital and the rest are the medical record and one of them is a nurse .
this nice lady is a good friend of mine she is a nurse and even the man behind her .
very nice people and so friendly , i will miss them so much .

Placentia , I came to you In the 28th of August 2006 ,the weather that time was warm and beautiful and every thing was green , I landed on St’Johns air port and then I took the car to go to Placentia which is about 120 kilometre from the town .
Placentia is a small town , very beautiful and all green , I went to my beautiful house which has a big back yard and mountain , and a big front yard , I get in the house I loved it from the beginning , the next day I started to discover the area , I heard about the walk board near the beach , I went there which is about 7 min walking from my house .
The fresh air the sounds of the beach all this made me love this place .
Every day I went out to discover where do I live , I did not took time from me because it is small town , it took about 4 days to discover all the roads and every thing .
The people helped me with their smiles and saying hello to me , they did not let me feel I am a strange person in their town , I had so beautiful time with my bicycle .
Then in the mid of September I started to practice my English with a nice old woman , and we became close friends .
Then I stopped my lessons with her because I started to work in the hospital as a medical secretary .
In the beginning it was not easy to make friends with the staff , but after about 3 weeks we started to become friends and now we are close and enjoy working with each other .
I had my first winter in Canada in the Placentia , in the beginning I was happy of the snow , but later I felt boring of it and we had about 4 blizzard, but I enjoyed my time with the snow .
The snow started to melt in the end of April , and the ground start to appear , and the grass starts to grow up again , and the ground changed from white to yellow and now green .
Now we have rain and the temperature around 2 to 5 degree .
We go to the town every week to see movie or for shopping we drive for one hour and 20 min and enjoying the view of the nature .
Now ………… I have only 3 weeks in Placentia and in my work , I will miss both of them so much , and the most important I will miss the nice friendly people over here .
I had 9 beautiful months in Newfoundland ,Placentia .
It was a great beginning away from my country ,family and friends .
I will always remember you and I will come back and that for sure …………

33 dead in 'horrific' campus shooting in Virginia

At least 33 people are dead and more than a dozen others wounded after a gunman opened fire at a Virginia college on Monday in what is being described as the worst campus shooting in U.S. history.

An injured person is carried out of Norris Hall, where most of the fatalities occurred. 'At least 30 to 40 big shots' were fired in the engineering building, a student said.

The suspected gunman took his own life at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, campus police Chief W.R. Flinchum told an afternoon news conference.
Police said they now know the identity of the gunman but are withholding his name for the time being. They said they did not know his motive or whether he was a student at the college, which has a student body of about 26,000 in a town with a total population of only 39,573.
There were two separate shootings about two hours apart at opposite ends of the campus. The first took place at about 7:15 a.m. ET at West Ambler Johnston dormitory, a co-ed residence housing more than 800 students, and the second about two hours later at an engineering building, Norris Hall.
University president Charles Steger said Norris Hall had become a "tragic" and "horrific crime scene."

Management Lesson - To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson Two
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy." "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients." The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
Management Lesson - Bull sh*t might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lesson -
(1) Not everyone who sh*ts on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of sh*t is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep sh*t, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Idiotic 'Millionaire' Contestant Makes Worst Use of Lifelines Ever

Kathy Evans, the single dumbest contestant to ever get on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

NEW YORK - Idaho resident Kathy Evans brought humiliation to her friends and family Tuesday when she set a new standard for stupidity with her appearance on the popular TV show, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."

It seems that Evans, a 32-year-old wife and mother of two, got stuck on the first question, and proceeded to make what fans of the show are dubbing "the absolute worst use of lifelines ever."

After being introduced to the show's host Meredith Vieira, Evans assured her that she was ready to play, whereupon she was posed with an extremely easy $100 question. The question was:

"Which of the following is the largest?"
A) A Peanut
B) An Elephant
C) The Moon
D) Hey, who you calling large?

Immediately Mrs. Evans was struck with an all consuming panic as she realized that this was a question to which she did not readily know the answer.

"Hmm, oh boy, that's a toughie," said Evans, as Vieira did her level best to hide her disbelief and disgust. "I mean, I'm sure I've heard of some of these things before, but I have no idea how large they would be."

Evans made the decision to use the first of her three lifelines, the 50/50. Answers A and D were removed, leaving her to decide which was bigger, an elephant or the moon. However, faced with an incredibly easy question, Evans still remained unsure.

"Oh! It removed the two I was leaning towards!" exclaimed Evans. "Darn. I think I better phone a friend."

Using the second of her two lifelines on the first question, Mrs. Evans asked to be connected with her friend Betsy, who is an office assistant.

"Hi Betsy! How are you? This is Kathy! I'm on TV!" said Evans, wasting the first seven seconds of her call. "Ok, I got an important question. Which of the following is the largest? B, an elephant, or C, the moon. 15 seconds hun."

Betsy quickly replied that the answer was C, the moon. Evans proceeded to argue with her friend for the remaining ten seconds.

"Come on Betsy, are you sure?" said Evans. "How sure are you? Puh, that can't be it."

To everyone's astonishment, the moronic Evans declined to take her friend's advice and pick 'The Moon.'

"I just don't know if I can trust Betsy. She's not all that bright. So I think I'd like to ask the audience," said Evans.

Asked to vote on the correct answer, the audience returned 98% in favor of answer C, 'The Moon.' Having used up all her lifelines, Evans then made the dumbest choice of her life.

"Wow, seems like everybody is against what I'm thinking," said the too-stupid-to-live Evans. "But you know, sometimes you just got to go with your gut. So, let's see. For which is larger, an elephant or the moon, I'm going to have to go with B, an elephant. Final answer."

Evans sat before the dumbfounded audience, the only one waiting with bated breath, and was told that she was wrong, and that the answer was in fact, C, 'The Moon.'

Vieira thanked Kathy Evans for coming on the show, and tried to make her feel better about winning zero dollars. But after the cameras stopped rolling, she stood up and smacked her across the face.

"How could anyone be so stupid?" shouted the irate Vieira to cheers from an approving crowd. "Get out! Get out of my studio this instant you stupid idiot!"

As Mrs. Evans left the studio, she was jumped and beaten by several angry audience members. She is currently listed in critical condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital

well i do understand them , but it is true , even me i said i can not believe it until i see it , and then i looked more info from the net and i started to believe it , so i will share u with more nice info so u will believe it .

well from Germany you can see any thing , i mean not only Germany but from the first world , they teach their children technology and every thing from the young age as cofman said , so they grow up with a clean smart brains .

i am sure if i brought a young child of 10 years old and ask him about the DNA he will identify the DNA for me .

Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe ! Water Bridge in Germany ..... What a feat! Six years, 500 million euros, 918 meters long.......now this is engineering! This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany, as part of the unification project. It is located in the city of Magdeburg, near Berlin. The photo was taken on the day of inauguration. To those who appreciate engineering projects, here's a puzzle for you armchair engineers and physicists. Did that bridge have to be designed to withstand the additional weight of ship and barge traffic, or just the weight of the water?
Answer: It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water! Why? A ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship, regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded .

The world's tallest man, whose search for a bride covered the world, ended up marrying a woman from his home town nearly half his age and more than two feet shorter, Chinese media reported on Wednesday.
Bao Xishun, 56, a 2.36-metre (7-ft, 9-inch) herdsman listed by Guinness World Records as the tallest living man, married a 29-year-old saleswoman, the Beijing News said. Both come from Chifeng in Inner Mongolia.
"After sending out marriage advertisements across the world and going through a long selection process, the effIt was the first wedding for Bao and his bride, Xia Shujuan, a mere 1.68 metres (5 ft 6 inches) tall.
Bao reached his height in a seven-year spurt that began in his teens and which doctors have yet to explain, according to Guinness.
After a career in the army, where he was recruited for a basketball team, he returned to Inner Mongolia. He now herds livestock and hires himself out for publicity stunts.
In December, Bao saved the lives of two dolphins by reaching deep into their stomachs with his 1.06-metre (42-inch) long arm to pull out pieces of plastic, according to Chinese media.

yes i know i disappeared for about a month or even more , but to tell you the truth , i did not know that somebody will care from my missing in the blogs , but what surprised me that i found some friends did care and were worry about me , which made me feel i am not alone .

well what happened to me is ...... i was so sick ... i was going from one sickness to another and each one had its level and stage , but thanks God i am so fine now .

did you tried to be in bed for about a month .. ohh that what happened to me .

well i really find that i do have good friends in the blogs world , first lebeeya who left me a cute comment asking about me (Where are you ya binit???I hope all is well. )that was her lovely comment .

well many things happened while i am in bed sick , good things really ..

one of the best news is ...... we will move to Toronto on June .

yes i will leave Newfoundland after having a great time here , but moving to big city will be good to me where there is many opportunity to me .

History of Toronto

Name Origin:
The name Toronto was chosen by the Excelsior Co., which owned land there, in honour of Edward Hanlan, world champion sculler who came from Toronto in Canada and who arrived in N.S.W. at the time of the subdivision. The name was not used publicly until the Newcastle Morning Herald of 18.6.1887.
The aborigines called Toronto foreshore "Derah-bambah" meaning rising ground. Toronto was "Pondee" meaning overlooking view. Toronto West was "Toompoah" meaning place of clay.
Aboriginal Occupation:
During the earliest period of European settlement Aborigines were known to frequent the area and two of the local tribe are buried on the site of the post office.
When Threlkeld set up his mission in 183 1, there were 160 aborigines in the vicinity but this number dwindled to 30 by 1839. Threlkeld's relations with the aborigines were good but the mission was a failure and did not make converts.
Early Land Grants:
The Rev. Threlkeld received the right to possess 1280 acres in November 1829 (Awaba Parish). The area included the present day boundaries of Toronto. He commenced his mission to the Aborigines there after moving from Belmont. In 1844 Ralph Mayer Robey purchased the grant from Threlkeld.
In 1851 Robey leased the property to a farmer named Richard Fennell who occupied it until about 1870. After Fennell the estate passed over to Messr's MacMahon and Whiting. In turn it was purchased in 1885 by the Excelsior Land Investment and Building Co. and Bank Ltd.
Early Subdivisions:
In 1885 the Excelsior Land, Investment& Building Co. and Bank Ltd acquired a portion of Threlkelds' original grant from McMahon and Whiting plus the 100 ft waterfront reserve from the Crown for 13,722 pounds and subdivided it in 1887. This subdivision coincided with the opening of the Great Northern Railway and became the basis of the future town of Toronto. By 1906 Toronto was still mainly limited to the triangle formed by Cary Street, the Boulevarde, and the railway line. D.P.2505 of 189 1, encompassed Jarrett, Ambrose, Renwick, North, Day and Thome Streets as well as Excelsior Parade, Brighton Avenue and The Boulevarde.
Early Settlers:
The first settler in the region'was the Rev. Threlkeld who arrived to set up a mission in 1829. A Mr. Russell was a miner in 1848 and was killed that same year in a coal fall. Mr. Robey settled soon after he purchased land in the area in 1844 and remained until about 1850, while directing coal mining operations. In the years 18871892 the name of some early settlers were: W. Hook(e), postmaster; F.F. Mossman, assistant postmaster; N.T. Holdsworth, boat proprietor; H. Blair, boat builder; Q. Hendry, overseer; Patrick Goetly, butcher; Louis Deer, school teacher; and S. Shute, school teacher. Other family names from the same period (I 890) include Hinton, Dale, Rayfield, Buckley and Horn.
Early Industries:
In the 1830's and 1840's the current centre of Toronto was the site of a prosperous farm with a variety of crops and many fruit trees including Mulberry.
In 1841 the Ebenezer Coal Works on the nearby peninsular began production which continued for many years. Both the farm and the coal works were started by the Rev. Threlkeld whose grant in the area was taken over by Mr. Robey in 1844. With the exception of some extended periods when it was closed the mine continued production until 1906 (see Coal Point).
There was certainly a dairy in existence by 1844. In 1886 a brickworks was established near the sports ground at Stoney Creek, and in 1887 the Toronto Hotel was constructed from these local bricks. After the opening of the Tramway in 1891 the main industries were tourism and building.
Early Transport:
Until August 1891 the nearest major transport was via rail from the station now known as Fassifem. In 1891 a tram service was started between Fassifern and Toronto.
Railway:
The Toronto-Fassifern steam tramway service was opened and operated by the Excelsior Co. from August 1891 until March 1899, and for the following ten years was leased to the Toronto Hotel and Tramway Co. In 1910 after the Company had some difficulty in maintaining the service in the N.S.W. Government Railways took over, upgraded it and has operated it ever since.
First Post Office:
First established on 1 October 1889, with W. Hooke in charge. In 1891 F.F. Mossman became assistant. The office operated from the Toronto Hotel until 1894.
First School:
Public School opened June 1890 with an enrolment of 21 pupils, which increased to 32 by the end of the year. Mr. S. Shute was first teacher. Toronto Evening School operated only in 1902. Biraban Public School opened in January 1956. It was called Toronto West until January 1978. Toronto High School was opened in January 1962.
Organisations:
A School of Arts Committee was established in 1893, its first president being H. Moore; Vice-President 0. Hendry; Secretary L. Deer; Treasurer W. Hooke; Messrs R.A. Campbell, A. Stephen and C. Unthank were also on the committee.
Town:
The first hotel was completed in 1888 and a School of Arts built in 1893. The hotel was sold by the Excelsior Co. in 1899 and after passing through several hands was bought by Walter Donnelly in the early years of this century. The first reticulated water arrived in 1919. The first electric street lights were installed in 1923, the power being supplied by Caledonian Collieries Ltd from their West Wallsend Colliery. The first church (Anglican) was built about 1900.

1911 - 153 homes and 629 persons. 1921 - 280 homes and 1291 persons. 1933 - 345 homes and 1274 persons. 1947 -528 homes and 1962 persons. 1954-639 homes and 2252 persons. 1961 - 2353 homes and 8515 persons.

yesterday night we had a bad blizzard i even felt that the roof of my house will fly , the wind was so strong about 160km/h , and the snow falling was unbelievable .so i work up in my birthday morning and we supposed to go to work and when i saw our car how it was covered by snow i knew that we wont go to work , and yes we wont go to our work , actually nobody went to work or school every thing was closed on Tuesday it was like weekend but not weekend .
well here in that place where i must have my garbage box but where it is ????
well i think it is deep deep down .

this is the first step of the work bring the shovels and ahh start work and make muscles , it was not easy at all , but we have to let our car free unless we will be stuck at home , so here we are started our work .
this is the son of our neighbour , he was playing and making an ice cave , well they did not have problem like us , because they have houses cover their cars besides them while us our house is in an open space so welcome to snow .
well can you believe this , i could not , i was working and taking pics at the same time , and as i told u it was just like a weekend every body went out to take pics that in case they did not have problem with the snow and their houses , and many of people like us they are stuck with the snow either they are trying to save their houses or their cars , so i chatted with few people were walking and i asked them ( this is the first winter to me in Canada , so is this a usual amount of snow or no? ) and many of them told me that they did not saw this much of snow or a blizzard like this for about 30 years ago , can u believe it ?
thanks God that our house did not have problem with the snow it was only our car .
here is my husband working , i was doing the shoveling and he removed the snow away .

well after an hour and only this we could do it , i told you it is not easy thing !!

then here is our hero came to help the poor hands , this man came just to visit our neighbour and it seems he was looking on us from their window , and he felt we are really need a civilizing help ..lol , so he came out side and he took this snow machine out of his van and he came to help us , for that he was our HERO .
And here he is , we were like cutting the snow in the ground by our shoveling and he do the rest , so we made a good team .
And here is our car it started to be clear but this is not every thing there is still too much work .

Did u see , this supposed to be a small store but now it is just snow .

Do u know how took from us just to do this , 3 HOURS , ohhh yes boy!
Then we went to the hospital where we work and that was the back door of the hospital they told us that it was completely covered by snow , the good thing that day , NO WORK ;)
This is the road lead to the hospital after clean it from the snow .

Well seems there is another people like us :P

I really love to share you with this story , it is our story ( me & my husband ) and out trip from Toronto to Newfoundland .
Well after staying in Toronto for 20 days , it is the time to go back to our home .
Our trip was on Thursday at 12:10 pm , we arrived to the airport at about 10:30 am , and we found that our trip delayed 30 min which is nothing with us , so we get in the airplane at about 12:35 pm , and here we are in the air , normally the duration of the trip takes about 3 hours and a half from Toronto to Newfoundland (St’Johns) .
So when we felt that we arrived St’Johns , we felt like the plane took a u-turn , we did not understand what was going on???? And here we are the pilot spoke to the passengers ( attention dears passengers please , we arrive to St’Johns but we could not land in the airport due to weather problems so we will go back to Halifax and we will know the situation from there , but hopefully we will flight today to St’Johns ) and you hear ahhhhh NOOOO from the passengers , so another hour to go to Halifax (Nova Scotia) , and at about 5pm we landed in Halifax airport , and normally we thought that we will get out from the air plane and get in the airport but no this is the surprise !!!!
The pilot took his way to the gates place and when he arrived one he took time to let us know what is happening!! Then another announcement from the pilot ( attention pleas , well due to the freezing weather there is a problem in this gate but we will go to another gate to let you get out to the airport so please stay in your seat ) .
Well until now it is normal , then the plane took its way to go to another gate , and then it stopped for about 45 min and we did not know what is happing??
And here we are another announcement from the pilot ( attention passengers pleas , well it seems that the airport does not have staff to take care of you so we will stay in the air plane until we have an okay from St’Johns and we will flight to St'Johns ) and here we hear the passengers said ahhhhhhhhhhh come on !!!
Any way , the bad other thing it was that our seat me and my husband was in the last seat of the plane and I was sitting in the middle between my husband and another nervous man .
By that time which was about 5:30pm , the passengers start to use the washroom and they did a long line to get into the washrooms , which were in the last of the plane that means behind us ,and another thing the airplane service only drinks for free , but if you wanna eat you have to pay five dollars , and we have only 5 dollars cash that time so I told my husband to save them for the emergency .
So one hour went then 30 min then we hear the pilot again ( well ….eehhh … passengers .. I am going to tell you about the situations in St’Johns it seems the drive way for the plane is freezing and they are trying to clear it so we will wait in the air plane until we know when we will can flight )
Oh my God , okay but waiting until when ???? a question with out an answer ???
So we waited for another 2 hours and then me and my husband got hungry so we bought a sandwich and we share it together , thanks God for serving the drinks for free .
Well now I will tell you for how long we stayed stuck in the air plane for 5 and a half hours ohhh yes .
Then thanks to them they allowed us to get into the airport after waiting for 5 hours and a half , can you believe it !!!
So we get in the airport , and we could buy food by credit card , so we stayed in the airport for tow hours which mean until 10:30pm .
So we stayed stuck in the airport for 5 hours and a half and then in the airport for 2 hours , then they made an announcement asking us to go back to the air plane .
We were all happy , so we get back in the airplane and after all the passengers took their place and every body is ready to go home and happy, we waited for 30 min and we felt there is another bad thing is coming , and here what the pilot said (attention passengers please , I am afraid to tell u that we have to wait in the air plane for a whole until we know when we will can flight to St’Johns ) and here all the passengers screamed ( cancel the flight cancel the flight ) and again the pilot ( well I can not cancel the flight so thank you for your patient )
Ahh my God , and they put a movie for us to pass the time , but nothing will pass the time and we stayed in the airplane for another 2 hours from 10:30 pm to 12:30 am .
Then the pilot made a last announcement ( attention please , we cancelled the flight , so every body will get out of the plane and call the air Canada to make a re-reservation for tomorrow and have a nice night )
Nice night they took our night , so we are in a strange city , we do not what to do ?
But we found 4 people we met them in the plane they came to us and asked us if we want to share a van with them and go to the down town and stay in a hotel so we agreed because we are so so tired .
And we went to a hotel and it took about 30 min to reach the hotel , so we entered our room at 3:00 am and we slept .
And the next day we took another flight at 4pm and we made it , we are finally home .
Finally we are in our sweet home.

And if you are going to travel ……. DO NOT TRAVEL IN THE WINTER TIME ;)
